Frequently asked questions

Understand KrimeScene before you use it.

Find answers to common questions about the app, its community features and its limits.

KrimeScene is a community awareness platform, not an emergency response service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services directly. Submitting a report in the app does not call emergency services or guarantee a response from authorities.

What is KrimeScene?

KrimeScene is a community safety awareness app from KrimeWatch Foundation Inc. It supports incident submissions, platform safety alerts and missing-person information.

Is it free to download?

KrimeScene is available to download free from Google Play and the Apple App Store. Device compatibility and regional availability are shown in each store.

Does a report call the police?

No. A KrimeScene submission does not itself call emergency services or file an official police report. Contact the appropriate authority directly if you need an official response.

Are monitoring staff police officers?

KrimeScene uses private platform monitoring personnel. Their role should not be understood as government or law-enforcement authority.

Are platform alerts official emergency warnings?

No. KrimeScene alerts are community platform information. Follow official sources for emergency warnings and instructions.

Will I receive every alert immediately?

Alert coverage and delivery depend on platform activity, participation, device permissions and connectivity. Immediate or complete delivery cannot be guaranteed.

What about my privacy?

Review the KrimeScene Privacy Policy before using reporting features or granting permissions. For questions about your data, follow the contact instructions in that policy.

How do I report a missing person?

Contact the appropriate authorities directly. You may also use KrimeScene's missing-person features to contribute relevant community information, taking care with permission and privacy.

How can I get app support?

Email support@krimewatch.com with a description of your technical issue. Do not use support email for emergency help.
