Document what you observe. Stay informed about community safety concerns. Support responsible information sharing through KrimeScene, available on Android and iPhone.
Use the app's incident-reporting features to record and submit information about an event. Share clear, factual details about what you personally observed. Media and location information may form part of a submission, depending on the feature and permissions you use.
Keep your distance from danger. Do not confront people, enter restricted areas or delay an emergency call to capture media.
KrimeScene provides community safety alerts published through its platform. These can help you stay aware of reported concerns and relevant precautions.
Coverage depends on local participation and platform activity. Delivery also depends on device permissions and connectivity. Information may be incomplete or inaccurate; an absence of alerts does not mean an area is safe.
Use the app's missing-person features to share relevant details and view available community information. Submit only information you are entitled to share, and be especially careful with children's information.
Report a missing person to the appropriate authorities directly. Follow their instructions and contact them promptly if you have urgent information.
KrimeScene is a program of KrimeWatch Foundation Inc, a nonprofit focused on community safety. It uses private platform monitoring personnel and community participation; it does not represent a government agency or promise police dispatch.
Before submitting media or location information, review what the app collects and how information may be used. Avoid including unrelated faces, private conversations, home addresses or other unnecessary personal details.
